So, it's come to my attention I've made 100 audio posts to Newgrounds between the ages of 13 and 20. It's not much compared to other creators but I thought I'd make a post to reflect to the odd few followers of mine and update as to where I am.
Electronic music is something I'm not heavily invested in as it looks. It feels like a hobby now because I only make use of FL Studio. I don't have any physical synthsisers beyond VSTs. I do try my best with what I have and know. I find it quick and easy to put something together when I have a good idea which is the result of the 100 demos and tracks I have on this evergrowing archive. Thus I made a huge ton of stuff in 2019 as I was still in school with not much thought of my future. Glossi Night Club was the one hit wonder of mine that came about that year. My old pal Chutney Glaze helped me out to get it frontpaged. I even got followed by Tom Fulp shortly after which really means a lot. (btw Chutney you've been gone for centuries plz come back man we need more funny animations from you)
As for animation, I of all people am now a University student studying and experimenting further into my format and other styles of animation. I hope to make something of the skills I aquire along the way. While everybody in the world is hungry for innovation which is basically just more AI nonsense, I want to make stuff that looks almost exactly like it was made 3-4 decades ago. Recorded on VHS tapes and the like.
Outside University the next passion project I want to put out will be called "WRATH III: the emerging alliance to defend the G.L.O.S.S.I solar system". All I can say is I want to make it more of a space opera, more characters, more focus on the fictional universe and a duration of 10-20 minutes. The 100th track I posted, Strobosea will likely be featured in the soundtrack.
WRATH III will take place directly after it's predecessor "SUPER WRATH" and will tell a story centered around characters Ula and Skye. I want the production to cost twice as much as SUPER with more time and effort into every aspect so I've set a placeholder for 2026 when I have some more meat on my bones in skill and strengh. And maybe if University doesn't eat away at all my energy and time.
In recent years, my life is changing a lot. respoabilities, studying etc. I've become aware of my limitations in animation and music and hope to make better work as time goes on.
